Action in the company

On 12.06.09 we had the sport event from our company. As the regular photographers weren't there I took some pictures of my colleagues in action.

Plastic is fantastic!

My Holga.. it almost sounds like my Russian friend, but is my plastic camera. Not just an ordinary plastic camera.. this camera fights with digital pixels and images shared on small screens on cameras or phones.

I used a fujifilm 400 asa and I made a thrown paper frame to paste it in the camera before I put my film in. It gave a nice border. I looked forward to see the developed pictures.. but when I saw them I realized: Sarah never forget to check if the Bulb setting is switched off!!!!

Oooo we love analog, the real trial and error photography!

Courtrai

Kortrijk - Courtrai.. There were plenty of festivities last weekend in the city.

Perfect to meet up with family!

SB interieur - Oudenaarde

A new Piet Boon pilote store opened his doors last weekend in Oudenaarde. The owners had the idea to take a portrait of every guest, so they can make a kind of mosaic on a wall.

300 guests and a guest singer, beautiful interior and nice food of master cook Tim Teck.

Oudenaarde was the place to be

And thanks to Lawrence I could use the 50 mm lens F1.4

Everybody's free to wear sunscreen

On a summer day in May I discovered a new nice park in Gent. Keizerspark, just crossing the street of my best friends house.

I am still shooting with the half broken kit lens on my Nikon D50. You can see the photos aren't really sharp.

Malaysia

My first time Asia... and definitely not my last time.
D & me spent 2,5 weeks in the amazing scenery of Malaysia.

Our itinerary:
  • Kuala Lumpur: city tripping and a visit to the KL Tower
  • night train to Langkawi (an island near the border of Thailand)
  • 3 nights at the amazing island of Langkawi, we went snorkelling, rent a scooter, went swimming in waterfalls, ...
  • a day on the island Penang: visited a night market and some temples
  • night bus to the North East side of the island where we took the boat to the Perhentians islands
  • Perhentian Islands = paradise!!!
  • Tama Negara: canopy walk and jungle tracks
I took my Yashica with me and my digital slr (Nikon d50) but I noticed that the lens of my Nikon had a little break down... after 3 years I have to say RIP kit lens 18-55mm, so I had to edit my digital pictures in photoshop to have some nice color and some sharpness...

Here's a little selection and you can find them on my flickr account as well
